Dial Dispatch - AUTOMATED DISPATCHING

Dialie’s dispatching system consists of a web-base call-taker and dispatch. How the system works:

The dispatcher/system operator will enter the pick-up-address information and destination into pre-defined fields on his computer monitor. Once the information is entered, the system will select the closest out of all the taxi drivers operating in the area at the time.

Other selection of the choice of the taxi are taken into account, such as the driver's record, driver revenues, etc. would be available and could be incorporated into the selection process upon request. The selected taxi driver will receive the message on his terminal and decide whether to accept the request. If the driver does not respond, the request will be deemed declined after a certain time frame, as determined by the taxi company. If the request is declined, the system will select the next driver. Once a driver accepts the request, the pick-up information will be displayed on the screen. The taxi driver will then proceed to the location for the waiting customer.

Should the driver put his system in “hired” at a location other than the pick-up address, the request will be deemed declined and the system will send a request to the next driver.

The pick-up and drop-off information will be accessible once the fare is accepted by the driver. The system automatically monitors fare status reporting passenger pick-up time, passenger drop-off time and customer no-shows, all with GPS location and tracking information.
